Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, update your profile, or communicate with us. This may include your name, email address, and authentication data. We also store the conversation history ("Memories") generated during your interaction with the AI to provide a continuous companion experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Kivori AI Service.
  • Power the AI's long-term memory and "working memory" systems.
  • Communicate with you regarding updates, security alerts, and support.

3. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) Data Sharing

Because Kivori AI operates on a Bring Your Own Key model, your conversation data is sent directly from your client or our proxy server to the third-party AI provider (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS) whose key you have supplied. We do not control how these third parties handle your data. Please review the privacy policies of the specific AI providers you choose to connect.

4. API Key Security

Your external API keys are stored securely. We do not use your API keys for any purpose other than facilitating your direct requests to the respective AI providers. We strongly recommend setting usage limits on your provider accounts.

5. Data Storage and Deletion

Your memories and account data are stored in our secure databases (MongoDB). You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated conversation history at any time by contacting our support team or using the in-app settings.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy.
